The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey Launches a Series of New Exhibits Near Bloomfield with Timed Entry.
Four new exhibitions are set to go-ahead from December 21st near Bloomfield and open every weekday until January. The collections are curated by company directors Susan Horn and Carole Chesek. To adhere to social distancing guidelines, guests are invited to reserve a timeslot in advance of the gallery. The main gallery is exploring everyday objects through a series of short films, photographs, and sculptures. In Adrienne Wheeler's White Dress Narratives, the Newark Artist interrogates her own maternal identity through a series of fashion cutouts and dresses. Open galleries celebrating local community artists are available on the second floor of the Visual Arts Center.
- The gallery is on 68 Elm Street and features art from established names to members of the center.
